Dr. John DeVries, DVM - Dr. DeVries graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He founded DeVries Animal Hospital in 1987 at 475 Spring Road in Elmhurst. The practice moved to 528 Spring Road in 1989 to accommodate its growth and to provide better service to clients and patients. He resides in Elmhurst with his wife and four children, and is actively involved in the community. He served on the Elmhurst Zoning and Planning Commission for 10 years. He is involved in the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce, has served on the District 205 Foundation for Educational Excellence, and is an active member of the Spring Road Business Association. He is the organizer of the annual Spring Road Pet Parade. He has practiced veterinary medicine for 23 years and still greatly enjoys his occupation. He strives to keep up with the new medical advances by attending 45 hours of continuing education each year. In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his family, woodworking, singing barbershop music and playing bells in the church hand bell choir. He is the proud owner of a mixed breed dog named "Doc" and a Shitzu named "Cricket"

Dr. Anne Lannon, DVM – Dr. Lannon graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her residency in Medical Genetics and Reproduction at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been in clinical practice for 14 years, including 3 years as Director of Canine Health with the Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, California. She has been on staff at DeVries Animal Hospital for 3 years. She travels regularly to lecture on topics related to canine genetics and reproduction. She most recently served for 3 months as a visiting professor at the University of Florida, teaching senior veterinary students clinical genetics and companion animal practice. Dr. Lannon shares her home with her husband and her dogs Frannie, Leroy, and Brynne. In her spare time, Dr. Lannon enjoys sailing with her husband and spending time with her pets.

Dr. Kathleen Meyers, DVM – Dr. Meyers also graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and has been in practice for 9 years. Originally from Westchester, Illinois, she first practiced in Valparaiso, Indiana. She returned to the Chicago area and has been on staff at DeVries Animal Hospital since January, 2001. She owns three mixed breed dogs named Pudge, Sparky, and Natasha. She and her husband, a computer consultant, keep very busy raising their four young daughters and one son.

Dr. Linda M. Kopija, DVM - Dr. Kopija graduated from the University of Illinois in 1991.
She resides in Lombard with her dogs Grunt, Gertrude, and Tessa and her four cats Sly, Mack, Little Girl, and Scout. She has great compassion and has helped rescue numerous Terrier breed dogs. Originally from Westchester, Dr. Kopija has been in practice in the western suburbs since she graduated from University of Illinois. Her hobbies include biking and cross country skiing, She volunteers what little spare time she has for ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) out of Melrose Park.

Dr. Mary K. Carr, DVM - Dr. Carr received her DVM degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She
has practiced small animal medicine and surgery in the Chicago area for the last 16 years. Dr. Carr has a special interest in veterinary dentistry. She resides in Lombard with her husband,
daughter and two sons. She enjoys biking and spending time with her family and yearly trips to the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Dr. Carr also enjoys spending time with and training her Brittany
Spaniel named Thunderdog.
